International DinaCard payment card
Even though the DinaCard payment card is a national card of the Republic of Serbia intended dominantly for use in the country, by establishing the cooperation with two large international card systems, the NBS enabled the issuance of the international DinaCard payment card which can also be used abroad.
DinaCard-DFS Card
Thanks to the cooperation established in 2010 between the National Bank of Serbia and Discover Financial Services, there is an international model of the DinaCard card that can be used abroad, on the accepting networks Discover, Pulse and Diners Club International in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. Discover Financial Services is the third largest card organisation in the United States, and also one of the largest card organisations in the world. The DinaCard-DFS card that is accepted globally has on its back the logos of the mentioned acceptance networks. It has all the functionalities of the standard DinaCard card and can be used both abroad and at all merchant locations and ATMs in the country marked with DinaCard logo. . By joining the DinaCard network, banks (and other payment service providers) receive the status of network members, and other legal entities the status of network participants. Application for DinaCard programme is submitted by banks, other payment service providers and other legal entities in written form to the National Bank of Serbia. The National Bank of Serbia delivers all the documents required for joining the programme to the bank, other payment service provider or other legal entity and it renders assistance and support in the certification process and further work.</p>

<li class="list-group-item">Card issuance and cash disbursement at teller windows – entails the issuance of all types of DinaCard cards under the Operational rules of the DinaCard network and cash dispensing at POS terminals in outlets and branches;</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Accepting cards at ATMs – entails cash dispensing, and other ATM transactions (balance enquiry, payment of bills, toping up prepaid mobile phone credits and alike);</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Accepting cards at POS terminals in retail stores and online – entails signing contracts with merchants acceptors for accepting DinaCard cards in their retail stores and/or online;</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Online payment with DinaCard cards – entails online payments with already issued debit and credit DinaCard cards and payment with virtual cards intended solely for online payments;</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Accepting payments to DinaCard card holders – entails accepting of payment transactions from abroad and accepting of money transfer transactions in the country;</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Transaction processing – entails card management, management and monitoring of ATMs and POS terminals, processing of payment transactions by mobile phones and processing of online transactions;</li>

<p>The procedure for accessing the DinaCard system is initiated by a bank or other payment service provider interested in joining the network. DinaCard – UnionPay card
At end-2017 the NBS established cooperation with the Chinese national card system UnionPay International by signing a Memorandum of Understanding as a basis for future cooperation between the Chinese national card system and the DinaCard system. The UnionPay system established in 2002 is the card system used in more than 181 countries and territories. The aim of this cooperation is to enable acceptance of the UnionPay payment cards in the entire DinaCard acceptance network in Serbia as well as the issuance of the joint DinaCard-UnionPay payment card in line with the latest technological solutions and most up to date forms of payment such as contactless cards and mobile phones to be used in the entire global acceptance network of the UnionPay system. Acceptance of international UnionPay cards was enabled in almost entire DinaCard network in Serbia.
