Interest-free deferred or instalment payments with DinaCard
The NBS reminds citizens that they can use their debit DinaCard issued by Poštanska štedionica, NLB Komercijalna banka or Banca Intesa to make interest-free deferred or instalment payments throughout the year, including during the oncoming May 1 and Easter holidays.
Citizens can use their DinaCard-PostCard of Poštanska štedionica to pay for fuel or goods and services at petrol stations NIS Petrol and Gazprom – those can be deferred payments or payments in two equal instalments, for bills over RSD 5,000. The users of SMS notification service will receive, one day earlier, free-of-charge text messages about the instalment falling due.
The holders of DinaCards of the above three banks can opt for payment in instalments instead of cheques – this is a much faster and simpler procedure and there is no need to spend time at cash registers filling in cheques. Moreover, the amount of instalments is not limited (it depends only on the funds available) and the user decides on their number. Merchants enabling payment in instalments have recognised multiple advantages of this modern service, which has been embraced by over 17,000 POS in Serbia.
